Obviously this book was very informative; that’s what the point of this series is。 I found this one a little boring, though。

My favorite part was it talked about the Titanic movie。 There was a submarine called Alvin next to the ship。 Robert Ballard was driving in the submarine。 Robert Ballard traveled from the surface to the shipwreck。

Jessica IBirchem-Isley

It had a lot of really good facts about the titanic that I never knew

Floyd John Barbin

A short book but still manage to give quality information。

Some Reader

A quality, child-friendly narrative of the famous ship and its sinking incident, with some insight on its design and manufacturing。

WHAT SAD STORY。 ENDING MY BIGMAMA。 WAS BORN 1912。 THE YEAR TITANIC WENT DOWN 。

Fun, easy read。 100% recommend if you want to know more about the Titanic, how it was built, and how it ended up at the bottom of the ocean。

I read this book to by 9 year old。 He is fascinated and wants to watch a movie about it as well。 I learned a number of new facts and had a few lost facts reminded to me。 Very informative without overwhelming either of us。

A great quick read for kids and even adults who are diehard Titanic history buffs。 I’m one and almost anything on the topics gets me going。 However it is overtly clear that the language and strategies of framing of the story are ripped right from the 1997 blockbuster。 But the film was good so maybe that’s what made this book interesting and flow nicely。 Also, diagrams and illustrations were great, and I especially enjoyed the little historical vignettes that were included in addition to the main A great quick read for kids and even adults who are diehard Titanic history buffs。 I’m one and almost anything on the topics gets me going。 However it is overtly clear that the language and strategies of framing of the story are ripped right from the 1997 blockbuster。 But the film was good so maybe that’s what made this book interesting and flow nicely。 Also, diagrams and illustrations were great, and I especially enjoyed the little historical vignettes that were included in addition to the main body of work。 。。。more

The Who was series never disappoints。 Great layout, interesting facts and I also really liked how they included different time lines to give kids a gauge to measure when these events happened compared to what was going on in the world。

(This review is more for the whole Who is\What is\Where is series than just this one book。) I read these books to my kids as part of our homeschool morning。 I really recommend them。 They are well written but not over the heads of my 4 & 6 year olds。 We read one chapter a day, which is just enough for them。 They really do enjoy learning from these books。

This was a very excellent introduction to the subject of titanic for kids。 I am exactly the perfect age to still be obsessed, because the movie came out right before my 15th birthday。 It never fails that if I find Titanic on television I watch it no matter what part of the movie it is at。 And all these years later I still cry for the last 45 minutes of the movie。Repeatedly as we were reading Eleanor kept asking me if I was okay and needed a hug。 She is very interested in learning more about tita This was a very excellent introduction to the subject of titanic for kids。 I am exactly the perfect age to still be obsessed, because the movie came out right before my 15th birthday。 It never fails that if I find Titanic on television I watch it no matter what part of the movie it is at。 And all these years later I still cry for the last 45 minutes of the movie。Repeatedly as we were reading Eleanor kept asking me if I was okay and needed a hug。 She is very interested in learning more about titanic and that makes my heart very happy。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book explains everything about the titanic from the construction to the sinking。 It explains the titanic’s sinking in detail and contains a brief timeline。 Approximately it said the ship contained over 2000 passengers and crew members, but had only enough life boats for half of them。

By far the most informative of all regarding this tragedy。 Details regarding building of Titanic, testing voyage, picking up passengers in multiple ports etc。 Much more details than Magic Treehouse and I survived。

A great book for kids to learn about the Titanic。 I’ve read a lot of books on the Titanic and I still learned a thing or two from this one。 Also love how it has actual pictures from the ship at the end。

Read to my son for school。。great book。

It was alright I don’t really recommend

Pretty interesting topic。 Tons of kids at my elementary school come to the library looking for books about the Titanic。 What a sad but eerily compelling true story in our history。 I might have to re-watch the movie with Leo now。 :)

Delightful, as usual! I always recommend this series to my students, as well as other adults who want bite-size chunks of history。 Even though each book takes less than a half hour to read, whenever I finish one I feel like I've gained a lot of knowledge。 It's amazing how much they can pack in there。 A couple fun tidbits:*More than 3 million rivets were used。 *Eight men died during the construction。 15,000 worked on the Titanic。*"RMS" stood for "Royal Mail Ship。" There were over 7 million letter Delightful, as usual! I liked this book because it talks about one of my favorite times in history and tells the story about the famous Titanic ship。 The book describes the events of the Titanic and about what it was like on the boat。 It gives us details about how the first class passengers felt and how different it was from the other classes。 I also liked the pictures it showed so we don't have to imagine what the boat looked like。 I loved the time lines and the stories about the people on the boat。 I would defiantl I liked this book because it talks about one of my favorite times in history and tells the story about the famous Titanic ship。 The book describes the events of the Titanic and about what it was like on the boat。 It gives us details about how the first class passengers felt and how different it was from the other classes。 I also liked the pictures it showed so we don't have to imagine what the boat looked like。 I loved the time lines and the stories about the people on the boat。 I would defiantly recommend this book to middle school readers or anyone else who is interested in the Titanic。 。。。more
